Spill-the-Beans Saturday
I guess for every Fibber McFriday, there has to be a Spill-the-Beans Saturday so I can separate the truths from the fibs!
But I have to start with my TT post. If you guessed #7 and #13, which a few people did — you’re right! There are a few little things in Linky-Land I’m working on.
And many of my spare minutes hours are spent working on something new, something I’ve needed for some time. Who knows if I’ll ever make it public or what I’ll end up doing with it. But boy, are my PHP, MySQL, shell scripting skills ever getting honed to a shiny, sharp edge!
And then there’s yesterday’s post. There wasn’t any late-night drinking, but I have been getting home from the fair after midnight. Yes, it’s that time of year again! And the part about Lori (the super-cute fitness trainer) and the “elliptical thingy” — yes, that was actually true! And so was the part about the security guard getting an eyeful . But there was a fib hidden in that corner of the story. The guard — HE was a man. :)

Fibber McFriday
I was hoping to have this post all written up, but I got a little sidetracked. I was out drinking last night and didn’t get home until about 3 a.m. so when the alarm clock went off at 4:30… well, you get the picture, don’t you?
But the little fibbalicious story I wanted to convey was from last weekend when my son had a baseball practice. I dropped him off and since I had nothing better to do, I drove to the office. The building is pretty much deserted, except for a couple of security guards.
My purpose, of course, was my daily workout, which I don’t get on weekends. Good for me! So I got up on the elliptical thingy — by the way, did I ever mention that one day Lori actually called it “elliptical thingy” — anyway, I did my forty minutes and then my cool down. I watch hour-long shows on my PDA and that translates into about 42-43 minutes of entertainment. Do the math, it works just great!
So then I took my shower. I was just stepping out to grab my towel when the security guard came in on rounds. And boy was she ever surprised to see me there! :)
So how’s that for Fibber McFriday? Can you guess what’s real and what’s not? LOL, there’s definitely a little of both! :)
Want to play along — sure you do!! And here is where you can set it up in Mister Linky!
