What was that about a 40% chance of showers after noon with less than a tenth of an inch expected?

OK, yeah.

It’s a good thing we’re here for a purpose other than weather. But it’s the fall, so I guess this is pretty much what you have to expect in these parts.

I really pity the leaf-peepers — you know, the people who have to plan their trip way more than a year in advance because things really do fill up. And this weekend, the one closest to the middle of October, has to a popular one. But really, for my money, I’d want to have reservations for the second weekend no matter how it happens to fall. Get it? Fall!

We’ve got two dog things today — one down, one to go, as I write this — and then I’m off to the nearest Wal*Mart, because that’s one of the ways I like to amuse myself when camping. Yes, I’m so easy.
